Should you become aware of illegal or fraudulent activity or personnel problems, the Summit County Employee Fraud Hotline provides a vehicle to report the issue. If full details are not provided, a return email or phone number is required to fully investigate.

What May Be Reported
- Taking or “skimming” of any County monies (cash, checks, etc.).
- Creating and/or submitting fictitious invoices for personal gain.
- Theft of County property, such as inventory or supplies.
- Payroll or timekeeping fraud.
- Improper awarding of County contracts.
- Conflicts of interest.
- Violations of personnel policies or work place violence.
The hotline is not for reporting general complaints or suggestions.
The hotline is not a substitute for speaking directly with your supervisor or manager.
Summit County adheres to all provisions of the Whistleblower Protection Act under the Securities and Exchange Commission. When reporting a potential fraud complaint, your identity does not have to be revealed if you wish to remain anonymous.
